Dr. Alvarado has maintained a private OB/GYN practice in Bayamon, PR since 1997. Previously worked in a multispecialty practice in Lake City, FL. Simultaneously has been the legal advisor of Health Law and Medico-Legal Affairs to the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, as well as for the Municipal Legislatures of Catano and Toa Alta.
Worked as Administrative Law Judge at the Puerto Rico Board for Medical Examiners dealing with disciplinary actions and Puerto Rico Emergency Management Agency for human resources disciplinary actions. Previously he also worked as a legal advisor for the Mayor of Catano in health law and medico-legal affairs acting as Chief Compliance and Risk Management Officer.
As an Attorney, he was part of Landron & Vera LLP Law Firm, he handled active state and federal litigation, with an emphasis in medical malpractice cases (both for plaintiffs and defendants). Previously he had rendered services as a legal counselor at Patient's Advocate Office.
